Explore Porsche's Finest with Broad Arrow: Exclusive Film Showcases Rare 911 Models

Broad Arrow, part of Hagerty (NYSE: HGTY), has teamed up with Henry Catchpole to produce an exhilarating new entry in the "The Driver’s Seat" series. This film showcases two extraordinary Porsche models available through Broad Arrow Private Sales.

Renowned for its selection of modern classic supercars, Broad Arrow presents the ultra-rare Porsche 911 TAG Turbo and the RUF CTR Anniversary. These models highlight the company's esteemed reputation, as demonstrated in this spectacular film collaboration with Hagerty.

This film brings together the Mint Green duo for the first time, offering viewers a unique opportunity to witness these cars in action. Henry Catchpole expertly navigates the scenic Anglesey Circuit, showcasing each model's distinct character and powerful performance.

Catchpole's test drive reveals the cars' individuality and superior track capabilities. Thanks to its 710hp engine, which drives the rear wheels alone, the RUF is "utterly extreme" and a "proper wild child.” Meanwhile, the TAG Turbo captures his affection, surprising him with its exceptional engineering beyond a powerful engine. It is one of the finest 911s ever, yet perfectly suitable for daily use.

The 2023 RUF CTR Anniversary, a limited edition of only 50 units, features a stunning PTS Mint Green exterior over a Black Alcantara interior. It has low mileage and many high-performance options, including a front axle lift and foldable Kevlar carbon bucket seats. Its potent 710-horsepower flat-six twin-turbo engine accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds and has a top speed of 224 mph.

Alois Ruf proudly reflects on the CTR Anniversary, celebrating it as a milestone in his company's history, marking the 30th anniversary of the iconic Yellowbird.

The 1988 Porsche 911 TAG Turbo, also available through Broad Arrow Private Sales, is a rare gem that has been around for less than 300 miles since its last completion. Customised in Mint Green over Black leather with Blue/Green tartan cloth, it features a historic 1.5-litre TAG Turbo V6 engine, initially used by Alain Prost in Formula One, capable of revving to 10,250rpm.

Dean Lanzante celebrates the uniqueness of the TAG Turbo, a testament to the legacy between two legendary brands, crafted to remain exclusive with no further production planned due to limited engine availability.

Joe Twyman, Broad Arrow’s VP of Sales for EMEA, also took to the track, highlighting each car's distinct and robust nature. Although both vehicles were finished in the same striking colour, they differed significantly in their driving dynamics.

Though the RUF CTR Anniversary has already found a buyer, the Porsche 911 TAG Turbo will be showcased at the upcoming Retromobile show in Paris. This event will provide enthusiasts and potential buyers with a fantastic opportunity to explore this exceptional vehicle closely and learn more about these remarkable cars and the art of driving them in Broad Arrow and Hagerty's latest film—an essential viewing for any car enthusiast or potential collector-looking for rare insights into some of the world's most exclusive supercars.
