Explore the Mulliner "Expressions of Texture" Collection: Bespoke Bentley Convertibles

The "Expressions of Texture" collection, featuring four bespoke Bentley Continental GT Speed Convertibles, epitomises the visual and tactile creativity achievable by the Mulliner bespoke studio. This collaboration between Bentley Rancho Mirage and the Mulliner team has inspired unmatched creativity, showcasing custom features and meticulous craftsmanship.

Each of these four models boasts a unique satin finish from Mulliner's exclusive colour palette, which requires up to 55 hours to perfect. They are further distinguished by 200-million-year-old stone veneers so thin they are almost translucent and bespoke, blind embossed upholstery designed to mirror the Coachella Valley's landscapes in the Colorado Desert.

Rancho Mirage, set against the diverse and striking backdrop of the Coachella Valley, provided the rich inspiration for these designs. Its landscapes vary from arid deserts to lush greenery and weathered mountains, influencing the bespoke specifications of the four Continental GT Speed Convertible models.

The serene night skies over Coachella Valley inspired the Peacock Blue satin model, complemented externally by a tri-tone carbon fibre Styling Specification in satin, Electro Blue, and Peacock Blue. Inside, the vehicle sports a Peacock Blue satin two-tone fascia with Slate stone veneer, accentuated by an Electro Blue pinstripe, with the same hue highlighting the air vent vanes and headrests. Additional luxurious touches include Serenity quilting on the seat uppers and tonneau cover.

Another model, echoing the fluid shapes of desert dunes, is finished in Ghost White Pearl satin with Tungsten wheels and a Silver Tempest pinstripe. Its seats and tonneau cover feature bespoke blind quilting inspired by dunes, while the fascia and console in Ghost White Pearl satin paired with Autumn Stone veneer exemplify understated elegance.

Drawing inspiration from the rugged mountains around the Coachella Valley, the Havana satin Continental GT Speed Convertible features interiors of Cognac, and Burnt Oak hide with blind quilted patterns representing the topography of California’s Death Valley. This same map design is intricately carved in 3D on the floor mats, with the fascia and console matching the exterior Havana satin finish, divided by a Bronze pinstripe.

A model in British Racing Green satin completes the collection, illustrating that colour choice is merely the beginning of a deeply personal design journey. Each model offers a sensory experience, with the soft Dinamica upholstery, cool stone veneers, and quilted contours providing a canvas of limitless creative possibilities.

David Parker, Mulliner’s Chief Commercial Officer, states, "The Expressions of Texture Collection is designed to inspire our customers to explore the vast range of customisation options available at the Mulliner bespoke studio, aiming to surpass the boundaries of their imagination.”
