Fernando Alonso Unveils His Custom Aston Martin Valkyrie in Monaco

Today in Monaco, Fernando Alonso debuted his Aston Martin Valkyrie, the pinnacle of hypercars, crafted to mirror the performance of a Formula 1® car on public roads.

Alonso piloted his bespoke Valkyrie from the iconic Monte Carlo Bay Hotel, displaying a unique design forged in partnership with Aston Martin’s customisation service, Q by Aston Martin.

Drawing inspiration from his Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team AMR24 race car, Alonso’s Valkyrie sports a Satin Aston Martin Racing Green coat with custom AMR Satin Lime Graphics, accentuating its aerodynamic features. The hypercar’s expansive Venturi Tunnel boasts additional graphics in Speed Red and shades of Light and Dark Blue. Key elements like the roof and engine cover feature exposed Carbon Fibre, and a Titanium Aston Martin Wings badge adorns the front. Additionally, a custom 'CAUTION HOT' graphic embellishes the rear.

Inside, the cockpit continues the theme with extensive exposed carbon fibre and swathes of Pure Black Alcantara, complemented by AMR Lime stitching. Alonso’s distinctive logo is also embroidered on the headrests in matching AMR Lime thread.

One of the most personal touches is the red anodised aluminium accelerator pedal, etched with the number ‘14’—a nod to Alonso’s karting world championship win on 14 July 1996 with the same number.

“It’s hard to describe how much I’ve anticipated this day," said Alonso. "Driving my own, personally-designed Valkyrie, a project closely developed with the Q by Aston Martin team, is unforgettable. The Valkyrie embodies an F1® car's essence on the road, leveraging extensive knowledge and technology from Aston Martin’s racing heritage, and I’m thrilled to start driving it.”

Accelerating from 0-60 mph in less than 2.5 seconds, the Aston Martin Valkyrie features a hybrid 6.5-litre V12 powertrain, pushing out a whopping 1,155PS. This hypercar combines aggressive F1®-inspired aerodynamics and performance, offering one of the most exhilarating driving experiences available on the road.

As with all Aston Martin sports cars, the Valkyrie is constructed at the brand’s UK Headquarters in Gaydon. A dedicated project team oversees its build in a specially designated Valkyrie production area, where skilled technicians handcraft each of the limited 150 cars, dedicating over 2000 man-hours per vehicle.

Before delivery, each Valkyrie undergoes rigorous track-testing at Aston Martin’s high-performance facility at Silverstone, a key site for the hypercar’s development.

Q by Aston Martin represents the brand’s unmatched personalisation service, enabling customers to unleash their creativity and craft a truly unique vehicle, from bespoke exterior colours and graphics to personalised interior details.
