Limited-Edition McLaren MCL38 Celebration Models: Honouring the 2024 F1 World Constructors’ Championship

Eighteen McLaren customers will have the opportunity to join the brand's celebrations of its victory in the 2024 Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship, with the announcement that a minimal production of MCL38 Celebration Edition supercars will be produced. Only nine Celebration Edition Arturas and nine 750S models will be available for purchase, with the numbers reflecting McLaren’s ninth Constructors’ Championship win.

McLaren clinched the 2024 Formula 1 World Constructors’ Championship at the season finale in Abu Dhabi, leading the standings from the September Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri contributed significantly, securing eight pole positions and six Grand Prix wins with the McLaren MCL38. This was the team's first championship win since 1998.

The ultra-exclusive Celebration Edition cars, named after the MCL38, the 2024 World Constructors’ Championship-winning car, boast a custom livery designed by McLaren Special Operations. This includes the iconic Papaya Orange and Anthracite colour scheme, a chevron colour transition emblematic of McLaren, a Champions’ Laurel, and a ‘Nine-Star’ logo, enhanced by additional orange accents on a bonnet stripe and brake callipers.

Michael Leiters, CEO of McLaren Automotive, stated, “Our relentless pursuit of excellence was showcased spectacularly in 2024, with significant achievements on the track and road. Celebrating the Formula 1 Constructors' Championship with a special edition of our award-winning Artura and 750S seems fitting. Each of the eighteen MCL38 Celebration Edition cars, produced in limited numbers, proudly commemorates our latest championship victory, delivering an exhilarating driving experience that only a McLaren can offer.”

The interior of the MCL38 Celebration Edition is equally impressive. It features a Visual Carbon Fibre Extended Sill Cover on the driver’s side, personally signed by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and a Champions’ Laurel on the seat headrests. Each of the nine Arturas and nine 750S models carries a unique MCL38 dedication plaque with a genuine section of carbon fibre bodywork from the MCL38 Formula 1 car. A bespoke track record plaque in the bonnet storage area details the car's performance achievements during the season.
