Join the Thrill: Classic Cars Race Across Italy in the 1000 Miglia 2024

Experience the world's most beautiful race from 11 to 15 June, as classic cars built between 1927 and 1957 embark on a thrilling 2200-kilometre journey in five stages. The unique anti-clockwise route adds an epic flavour, reminiscent of the first 1000 Miglia speed race editions.

The race's historic first stage finishes in Turin. After passing through in 1947 and 1948, the convoy will stop in the Savoy city for the first time, parading through city centre streets to Piazza San Carlo, welcomed by the Red Arrow projected on the Mole Antonelliana. Another new stop is Genoa, hosting the first race lunch, followed by stages in Viareggio, Rome, and San Lazzaro di Savena.

Pre-race activities kick off on Sunday, 9 June, with Technical and Administrative Checks at the Brixia Forum Paddock. At 4:30 p.m., the 1000 Miglia Village opens in Piazza Vittoria. Two hours later, engines roar to life for the seventh edition of the Trofeo Gaburri, with cars racing between Corso Zanardelli and the Brescia Castle, finishing in Piazza Paolo VI.

Brescia's city centre eagerly awaits the 1000 Miglia. From Sunday through Saturday, cars will park in central squares and streets, with restaurants, bars, and shops staying open late. The White Night festival on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in Piazza Loggia will host the prize-giving ceremony.

Leading the classic car convoy, Ferraris from the Tribute 1000 Miglia and 1000 Miglia Green Full-Electric cars will pave the way, followed by Supercars and Hypercars from the 1000 Miglia Experience. The 1000 Miglia Autonomous Drive project with Politecnico University of Milan also continues, showcasing a robo-driven car at the Village inauguration. This year, Matteo Marzotto aims to complete much of the route in Autonomous Drive mode.

Supporting IEO – WOMEN’S CANCER CENTRE, the Pink Car of the 1000 Miglia Charity returns, with various show business personalities participating throughout the event.
