Lotus Chapman Bespoke Unveiled

Lotus unveiled a cutting-edge service - Lotus Chapman Bespoke - in response to overwhelming global demand.

This service empowers customers to personalise their Lotus products extensively, ranging from custom badges and trims to full-scale, one-of-a-kind vehicle personalisation.

Scheduled for launch in China on April 25, 2024, the bespoke service will gradually expand worldwide in the ensuing months.

Clive Chapman, Director of Classic Team Lotus and son of Colin Chapman, remarked, "My parents embarked on an extraordinary journey together. Their vibrant personalities birthed groundbreaking designs for drivers' pleasure. Now, drivers can revel in crafting their innovations with Lotus Chapman Bespoke."

Lotus Chapman Bespoke pays homage to Lotus founders Colin & Hazel Chapman, who established the business in London, UK, in 1948. A trailblazing innovator, Colin Chapman pioneered numerous designs, technologies, and racing innovations that remain influential in motor racing today.

Remaining faithful to the rebellious Chapman spirit, Lotus has consistently defied conventions, carving its unique path in the automotive world.

Qingfeng Feng, CEO of Lotus Group, reflected, "Lotus's narrative embodies that of a bespoke automaker. Colin Chapman initially hand-drew and handcrafted the first cars at home, a tradition that continues within us."

Lotus cars attract individuals who share this spirit, and Lotus Chapman Bespoke serves as a bridge between our founders and today's drivers. Now, you can tailor your car just as Chapman would have done himself.

Bespoke offers three tiers of personalisation and customisation:

1. Tailor-made: Curate your distinctive combination from various colours and designs, concluding with exclusive personal touches and details.

2. Collection: Select from limited-edition designs brought to life through collaborations with partners, artists, and like-minded luxury brands.

3. One-off: Craft a car as unique as you are, as the name implies.

Ben Payne, VP of Design at Lotus Group, said, "Many of our customers seek a bespoke experience, whether it's colour, texture, fabric, or detail—and we're eager to witness their individuality reflected in our cars worldwide."
