Revolutionise Battery Management: Unlock 25% Longer Life and 10% More Capacity with AI-Powered Chip

Eatron Technologies and Syntiant are revolutionising battery management with their new system-on-chip, delivering a comprehensive solution to enhance battery performance and safety across various applications, including light mobility, industrial settings, and consumer electronics. This collaboration has produced an AI-powered Battery Management System (AI-BMS-on-chip) that integrates seamlessly, unlocking up to 10% additional battery capacity and extending battery life by as much as 25%.

This optimised chip offers exceptional performance and efficiency in a cost-effective package. It features Eatron’s Intelligent Software Layer and Syntiant’s ultra-low-power Neural Decision Processor (NDP). Out of the box, Eatron’s pre-trained models accurately assess battery health, charge levels, and lifespan, maximising power utilisation and predicting potential issues before they arise to ensure safety.

Utilising Syntiant’s NDP120, the AI-BMS-on-chip performs real-time analysis and decision-making at the device level, bypassing the need for complex cloud infrastructure and reducing costs, latency, and power consumption. This edge computing capability enables immediate responses to changing battery conditions, enhancing device performance and safety.

Designed for easy customisation through a user-friendly toolchain, the AI-BMS-on-chip adapts to various battery-powered devices ranging from consumer electronics to e-bikes and commercial vehicles. It allows upgrades to existing Battery Management System (BMS) hardware, providing superior performance without a complete overhaul.

"We are now seamlessly running our latest AI models on edge in the Syntiant chip," stated Amedeo Bianchimano, Chief Product Delivery Officer at Eatron Technologies. "With AI-BMS-on-chip, we guarantee unparalleled safety and efficiency for battery-powered applications, deploying millions of devices with optimal battery usage."

Mallik P. Moturi, Chief Business Officer at Syntiant Corp, adds, "Our NDP120 enables all data processing on the edge, enhancing battery life, safety, and performance. It's ideal for everything from consumer electronics to commercial vehicles."

Eatron and Syntiant will showcase the AI-BMS-on-chip at The Battery Show Europe 2024, scheduled for 18th-20th June at Messe Stuttgart, Germany. This groundbreaking technology promises to bring significant performance, safety, and longevity advancements to various battery-powered applications.
