Revving Up: Hagerty's Exciting Partnership with BRM Resurrects Iconic British Motorsport Legacy for the 2024 Season!

Hagerty has announced an exclusive and dynamic partnership with the iconic British motorsport brand BRM.

BRM, renowned pioneers of British Formula 1 racing, made history by securing the constructors' championship in 1962. They achieved this milestone by meticulously crafting their winning car from scratch—a feat matched by only one other manufacturer in F1 history.

Competing from 1950 to 1974, BRM clinched victory in 17 out of 172 Grand Prix races with a lineup of legendary drivers, including Fangio, Hawthorn, and Stewart.

More than 70 years since the debut of the BRM V16, the brand is staging an exhilarating comeback, driving the BRM legacy forward to captivate new audiences and re-enter the racing arena.

Hagerty is partnering with BRM in this groundbreaking partnership for the 2024 Season's Reawakening initiatives. This collaboration will include showcasing the highly anticipated P15 Mk1 V16 'Chassis IV' at select events throughout the season and unveiling Doug Nye's eagerly awaited 'Volume 4' of BRM's History.

Furthermore, Hagerty's Clubhouse, nestled at the heart of Bicester Heritage, will proudly exhibit BRM imagery. Special events, such as an exciting racing simulator evening, will allow guests to experience the thrill of driving the iconic BRM P201 featured in the latest Forza game series.

Enthusiasts will also be allowed to admire the BRM V16 at the Hagerty Clubhouse. This will be followed by an engaging evening event featuring a panel of experts and BRM team members delving into the brand's remarkable racing legacy.

Mark Roper, Managing Director of Hagerty International, expressed his pride in the partnership, stating, "Hagerty is thrilled to collaborate with BRM as part of their dynamic Reawakening program. The BRM V16 holds a special place in every car enthusiast's heart, and we eagerly anticipate its arrival at the Hagerty Clubhouse later this year."

Paul Owen, Director of BRM, echoed the sentiment: "We are excited to deepen our ongoing relationship with Hagerty through this impactful partnership. Our shared passion for automotive and motorsport history and commitment to engaging a broader audience make this collaboration truly special."
