Unveiled: 1000 Miglia 2024 Line-Up Revealed by Selecting Commission

The Selecting Commission has completed examining received applications, officially unveiling the list of cars selected for the 2024 edition of the 1000 Miglia. Representing 33 nations, Italy maintains the highest number of competitors, with 71 vehicles hailing from the historic 1000 Miglia race.

Expect unparalleled line-ups featuring renowned brands such as Alfa Romeos and Bugattis, epitomizing the prestige of the Most Beautiful Race in the World. The starting grid boasts 50 Alfa Romeos, including rare models like 6C, 1750s and 8Cs, 31 Porsches, 27 Jaguars, 25 Mercedes Benz, 21 Ferraris, and 17 Bugattis. The race kicks off from Brescia on June 11th, culminating in a return on Saturday, June 15th, after covering over 2000 km, with a midpoint in Rome on Thursday, June 13th.

Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli are among the contenders for victory, aiming for their fourth consecutive title. Also vying for success are Argentinean pair Juan Tonconogy and Barbara Ruffini, champions in 2018. Notable podium candidates include Belometti-Ricca, Fontanella-Covelli, Sisti-Gualandi, and Turelli-Turelli.

The race retains its five-leg format, following the anti-clockwise direction as in 2021. Turin, Viareggio, Rome, and Bologna will serve as leg finishes before the return to Brescia. Additionally, the event will feature the 1000 Miglia Green and the Ferrari Tribute 1000 Miglia, along with the 1000 Miglia Experience, which showcases modern supercars and hypercars, now in its third year.
