Unveiling the GT ONE: A Pioneering Leap in Luxury Sports Cars

"Working with the talented team at Wardington, whose passion for crafting stunning cars remains unwavering, has been incredibly fulfilling. At the core of this artwork lies our relentless quest for mechanical perfection. Inspired by our rich history and the achievements of others, we strive to inspire car enthusiasts to drive these masterpieces frequently and forge unforgettable memories.

The FIA GT1 class challenged manufacturers to design breathtaking race cars. We've cherry-picked and tailored the best features for a superior road car... Enjoy the ride with us!" - Richard Tuthill.

"I never thought I'd have the opportunity to channel the spirit of the iconic FIA GT1 era into something so deeply personal. This project aims to connect emotionally, spark unique conversations, offer a nostalgic journey, and enhance your collection as the first gem in a series I plan to expand in the coming years. Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this dream to life." - Florian Flatau, Design Director.

Introduced in 1993, the FIA GT1 race class marked a historic era in Le Mans racing. Over 15 manufacturers competed, leading to a legacy of fierce competition and innovation. Initially designed for optimal track performance, these homologation cars often compromised on-road usability. However, the GT ONE is crafted expressly for the road.

Meet the GT ONE, a result of conversations between Richard Tuthill and client Elliot Ross, the film producer and car collector. Tuthill commits to building 22 unique examples, each demanding 3,500 hours of meticulous craftsmanship to meet each client's specifications.

Designed by California-based Florian Flatau, the GT ONE showcases an entire carbon fibre body and is powered by a robust 4.0-litre, 6-cylinder engine, available in both naturally aspirated and forced induction versions. The naturally aspirated engine delivers over 500 BHP, drawing inspiration from our high-revving 911K engine, while the forced induction variant offers more than 600 BHP.

Clients can choose from a 7-speed dual-clutch or a manual transmission. The GT ONE features twin wishbone suspension, carbon ceramic brakes, and bespoke callipers, achieving a lightweight build of 1,200 kg. Advanced engineering and premium materials enhance every aspect, from the underbody aerodynamics analysed via CFD to the full carbon fibre doors with integrated safety features.

Tuthill has partnered with Michelin and equipped the GT ONE with the renowned Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres, known for their superior performance and handling and reflecting its unmatched character.
