Unveiling the Mono R Supercar
BAC handed over its latest masterpiece, the Mono R supercar, to renowned US YouTuber and Twitch streamer Jordan Maron. The delivery occurred at BAC's cutting-edge facility in Newport Beach, California, basking in the radiant Californian sunshine. This high-performance single-seater, tailored to perfection, culminates a unique customisation journey initiated in September last year.
The Mono R, a pinnacle of bespoke automotive craftsmanship, continues BAC's tradition of unparalleled dedication. Collaborating closely with each client, the BAC design team breathes life into initial creative concepts, crafting a captivating and exclusive aesthetic.
Ian Briggs, co-founder and design director of BAC, expressed satisfaction in bringing Jordan's vision to life. He emphasised that BAC Mono ownership offers an unmatched experience. Each vehicle is meticulously handcrafted to exact specifications, resulting in a lightweight, dynamically remarkable machine that is truly personal and incomparable.
The BAC design team worked with Jordan to materialise his envisioned Mono R without creative or technical constraints from conception to realisation. Each project step involved delivering new renders, ensuring that Jordan's Mono R flawlessly embodied his vision.
Jordan's Mono R boasts distinctive features, from the iconic shark nose front to the aerodynamically optimised rear. The car is meticulously adorned with a three-coat red carbon finish, showcasing BAC's world-leading graphene-infused carbon technology. Sunburst Gold accents add aesthetic contrast, elegantly highlighting various exterior elements.
The bespoke theme extends into the cockpit, where Jordan's Mono R features seats and steering wheel stitching tailored to match the exterior colour scheme seamlessly. BAC's commitment to personalised perfection is evident in every aspect, with the cockpit meticulously crafted around the driver for an impeccable fit.
Powered by a Bac-optimised naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre engine, the Mono R delivers exhilarating performance, reaching 0-60mph in just 2.5 seconds. Following the delivery in California, Jordan embarked on an unforgettable drive along iconic routes, relishing the Mono R's optimised central seating position and breathtaking panoramic views.
