Lanzante Reveals ‘Project 95-59’: A McLaren Tribute to Le Mans Triumphs

In the summer of 1995, Lanzante carved a niche in motorsport history by clinching victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the #59 McLaren F1 GTR. Lanzante is launching its most ambitious endeavour to celebrate this monumental achievement.

Dubbed 'Project 95-59', after the victorious year and Le Mans entry number, this limited edition model is crafted on a McLaren base, integrating decades of accumulated expertise. The design prioritises the driver, focusing on superior engineering, usability, ownership, and technical sophistication. It boasts a three-seat configuration centred on the driver, ample luggage space, an extended touring range, and a formidable power-to-weight ratio of 700hp per tonne.

The esteemed automotive designer Paul Howse designed the driver-centric model, known for his work on the aerodynamically innovative McLaren P1. This new creation has been exclusively previewed to a select group of VIP clients as the pace of design and development hastens towards its public unveiling at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Further details about this unique celebration will be revealed in the forthcoming weeks.
