This thrilling partnership harnesses About:Energy's and McMurtry's prowess in electric vehicle innovation and battery modelling to push the boundaries of battery life and performance using the cutting-edge Molicel P50B battery. The Molicel P50B battery features a 5.0Ah 21700 form factor lithium-ion cell, offering an industry-leading power-to-energy ratio and the highest energy density to date at 260Wh/kg (714Wh/l).
About:Energy's precise modelling and characterisation of the P50B cell's behaviour will empower McMurtry engineers to integrate this crucial data into their battery pack designs. This integration will optimise fast charging capabilities and significantly enhance battery cycle life, ensuring a more reliable and efficient electric vehicle experience.
