Alpine Motorsports: Pioneering in the FIA World Championships 2025

Alpine, a premier international motorsport brand, will actively participate in both of the FIA's major world championships in 2025. Renowned for its endurance racing pedigree, Alpine enters its second season in the Hypercar top class with the A424, crafted with expert precision by the teams in Viry-Châtillon. For the 2025 season, the Alpine Endurance Team will compete with two A424 cars in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The team relies on two skilled crews to drive the A424s. Paul-Loup Chatin, Charles Milesi, and Ferdinand Habsburg, an ambitious young trio, continue their journey with car number 35 following a promising 2024 season. Mick Schumacher joins forces with Jules Gounon, newly promoted after excelling as a reserve driver, and Frédéric Makowiecki, bringing a wealth of experience, in car number 36. Matthieu Vaxiviere remains a vital part of the team, continuing as a reserve driver and contributing to enhancing the A424.

Alpine's drivers will don the brand's iconic colours, competing in a challenging eight-race campaign across four continents against eight prestigious manufacturers in the Hypercar category. The highlight of the season, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, promises to be a spectacular event where the French team will compete on home ground.

Bruno Famin, VP of Alpine Motorsports, alongside Team Principal Philippe Sinault and Sporting Director Nicolas Lapierre—who have secured three LMP2 Le Mans victories and two world titles for Alpine—lead the Alpine Endurance Team.

Motorsport is central to Alpine's strategy, underscored by Luca de Meo in Renault Group's 'Renaulution' plan, which repositions each brand to enhance its growth. Alpine focuses on Endurance and Formula 1 and engages in rallying, GT, esport, and other disciplines.

Founded in 1955 by the competition-enthused Jean Rédélé, Alpine has evolved into a frontrunner in motor racing. The brand's commitment to motorsports is unwavering, from its historic triumphs in the Rallye Monte Carlo and the World Rally Championship to the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans victory in 1978. The brand has continued to innovate, particularly highlighted by the relaunch of the A110 and the introduction of various racing versions since 2013.

Alpine's presence has been firmly established in two of FIA's significant championships since 2021, and challenges like the record-breaking Pikes Peak hill climb in 2023 complement its motorsports journey. Alpine's enduring partnership with Signatech and its extensive involvement in racing events underline a legacy of racing excellence and automotive innovation that continues to thrive under the Alpine banner.
