Discover Dymag's HALO-X: The Revolutionary Carbon Hybrid Performance Wheel for Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Dymag Technologies Limited, a global leader in lightweight automotive wheels, will unveil its new HALO-X Carbon Hybrid Performance Wheel, crafted specifically for the Porsche (992/992.1) 911 GT3 RS.
The HALO-X features a magnesium centrepiece and a carbon fibre rim, both of which were developed by Dymag. This wheel is designed primarily as a track upgrade but remains road-legal for street use.
Director of Dymag Technologies Limited, Christopher Shelley, stated, "HALO-X is the most advanced and exclusive production wheel in our history. Celebrating our 50th Anniversary, this wheel capitalises on our legacy of racing successes across F1, Indycar, Le Mans, and both World and Dakar Rallies. It represents the zenith of our production car programme, including collaborations with OEMs such as Aston Martin and Koenigsegg, and providing aftermarket options for BMW, Porsche, and Ferrari."
Shelley further explained, "With HALO-X, we reinforce our commitment to setting benchmarks in solutions for track drivers and competition racers. This wheel elevates the GT3 RS by enhancing its handling dynamics through significant reductions in unsprung weight, which improves braking, acceleration, and directional changes."
The introduction of the HALO-X marks Dymag's first new product since its acquisition by the wheel giant BORBET GmbH. The official launch is set for the Essen Motor Show, a prime venue for manufacturers, tuners, and enthusiasts to showcase new products and innovations.
Upon launch, the HALO-X will be available through Wheels Boutique in Miami, USA, at a $36,500 MSRP per set, excluding sales tax. In Europe, the price will be €34,900 per set, excluding import taxes and VAT, with EU dealers to be announced shortly.
