The new Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition is the sixth in a series of coveted timepieces since their partnership began in 2021. It emerges from a shared passion for crafting a product that ensures a rich sensory ownership experience.
Aston Martin aims to harness human emotion and provide a unique driving experience, a vision that inspired the new Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition. Every aspect of this timepiece is meticulously crafted to capture attention.
The iconic link between Aston Martin and the colour green dates back to 1922 when racing drivers would represent their nation with specific colours; for Aston Martin, this became what is now known as British Racing Green. Expanding on this tradition, Aston Martin now offers nine exclusive shades of green in its core colour palette, with countless bespoke options available through its customisation service, Q by Aston Martin.
The new Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition embodies the British marque's identity with a dial splendidly adorned in green. Girard-Perregaux has creatively reinterpreted an iridescent hue from Aston Martin’s colour range whilst honouring the brand's storied racing heritage. The dial undergoes a labour-intensive, detailed process that requires 14 separate manufacturing steps.
Moreover, the synergy between the two brands extends to using sophisticated materials typical of Aston Martin. The new Laureato Chronograph Aston Martin Edition utilises grade five titanium, a robust material also employed in producing Aston Martin’s hypercar, Valkyrie. This ensures durability, precision, and comfort, which are crucial for a watch that delivers outstanding performance and maintains comfort. True to the Laureato legacy, the case and bracelet are finished with brushed and polished surfaces, creating a striking contrast.
