BWT Alpine F1 Team Debuts A525 Livery for the 2025 Formula One Season

BWT Alpine Formula One Team has unveiled its A525 livery today, marking the start of its 2025 FIA Formula One Championship campaign. The launch, held during the action-packed F175 Live event in London, UK, drew attention with its historic significance and thrilling atmosphere.

The team's new colours combine the iconic Alpine blue with the renowned pink of Title Partner BWT, creating an eye-catching look for the upcoming 24-race season across five continents. With exciting new sponsors like Eni and MSC, the team is poised for a promising year.

At the F175 Live event in London's O2 Arena, which can hold up to 15,000 spectators and was organised to celebrate Formula One's 75th Anniversary, Team Principal Oliver Oakes, alongside drivers Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan, presented the team's colours and ambitions for 2025. They were joined by Emmy-nominated composer Brian Tyler, who performed his piece "Supernova" under his DJ alias "Are We Dreaming" during the lead-up to the reveal.

Earlier in the day, the team exclusively showed the new livery to partners and international media in Shoreditch, London. Renault Group CEO Luca de Meo, Executive Advisor Flavio Briatore, and Oliver Oakes shared their insights. Executive Technical Director David Sanchez discussed the technical advancements and strategies for the A525.

This was also the first occasion the team introduced its full line-up of drivers for the year, including Race Drivers Pierre and Jack, who later made a stylish arrival at the O2 Arena in an Alpine A290, the all-electric city car and winner of the 2025 Car of the Year award.

"Days like today are always landmark moments in a Formula One season," remarked Oliver Oakes, Team Principal. "With significant efforts at our factories in Enstone and Viry-Chatillon, we're setting solid foundations for a competitive season and are focused on pushing development while preparing for the regulatory changes in 2026."

The A525 is a progression from the A524, which saw substantial development during the 2024 season and helped the team secure two podium finishes at the São Paolo Grand Prix and sixth place in the Constructors’ Championship. The team is eager to maintain this momentum in 2025, and the car will make its first track appearance in Bahrain on 24 February for a shakedown, followed by three days of pre-season testing.

David Sanchez, Executive Technical Director, commented on the progress made during the winter: "It's been a busy winter, and the team has worked hard to develop the A525 while also planning for next year's car. This evolution has allowed us to refine details, address weaknesses, and enhance performance."

Pierre Gasly expressed his excitement about the upcoming season: "The anticipation of starting a new season and seeing the results of our off-season efforts is always exhilarating. As I enter my eighth year in Formula One, I’m eager to begin racing and experience the A525 on the track."

Jack Doohan also said, "I’m looking forward to the 2025 season with the BWT Alpine Formula One Team and my first full-time race seat. Having debuted last year in Abu Dhabi, I’m excited to return to the track and test the A525 in Bahrain ahead of my home race in Australia next month."
