Personalise Your Bentley Continental GT: Exclusive Mulliner Customisations Unveiled
Bentley now offers an expanded range of exterior customisation options for the fourth-generation Continental GT and Continental GT Convertible. Mulliner, Bentley's bespoke and coachbuilding division, has broadened its selection of exterior accent colours, enabling owners to showcase their unique style and attention to detail through precise enhancements crafted by Mulliner's skilled artisans.
Available accent colours range from pinstripes on body kits and door mirrors to wheel designs in single hues, contrasting colours, or detailed with pinstripes. Wheels can be customised in solid, metallic, satin, or pearlescent finishes, adding depth and luxury to the vehicle's appearance.
These exterior accents can complement or contrast the car’s exterior finish, echo an interior finish, or match any hide colour, seamlessly uniting the car’s interior and exterior colour schemes. For instance, the new dark chrome interior finish available for the Continental GT can be matched with a dark grey exterior accent, as outlined in the Mulliner Personal Commissioning Guide, which opens the door to endless personalisation possibilities.
The sleek and muscular fourth-generation Continental GT and GT Convertible inspire personalised and striking colour specifications. Mulliner now provides a contrast accent pinstripe for the aerodynamic body kit in a gloss or satin finish. This pinstripe accentuates the front spoiler, sills, and rear diffuser, and is also available for mirror caps and wheel rims.
For the Continental GT, Mulliner introduces a Beluga black roof finish, enhancing the car's bold, performance-focused aesthetic and recalling the record-breaking climb of the Pikes Peak limited edition.
Similarly, the Flying Spur features a contrast accent pinstripe along the lower edge of the body kit. A carbon fibre body kit is also available, which can be finished with a clear lacquer to show off the carbon weave or in a custom finish with an optional contrast pinstripe. Matching pinstripes for the wheel rim and mirror caps complete this distinguished look.
For the Bentayga, Mulliner offers contrast accent pinstripes for mirror caps and wheel rims. Painted brake callipers are available in Klein Blue, Signal Yellow, and Ice Silver, providing a vibrant alternative to the standard black finish. The Bentayga’s carbon fibre body kit can also feature a contrast pinstripe.
Wheel finishes significantly influence the vehicle's visual impact. Options range from a single colour matched to the body, creating a unified and modern appearance, to a metallic duotone highlighting the wheel’s detailed design for a more luxurious effect. Subtle pinstripes around the wheel rim also offer a refined touch. Customers can select from solid, metallic, duotone, satin, or pearlescent finishes, using Mulliner’s extensive paint range or even commissioning their unique colour and finish.
When fashion designer Supriya Lele collaborated with Mulliner to create a one-off Bentayga S, she introduced Nīla Blue, a bespoke colour inspired by her Indian heritage, adding a distinctive yet understated elegance. This hue was used as an accent on the wheel rims, complemented by Mulliner White on the bodykit, subtly hinting at the interior’s white piping.
Another exclusive project, co-curated by Bentley Naples, was a bespoke fourth-generation Continental GT Convertible highlighted by Damson exterior paint with Moonbeam accents, matching the interior’s White and Damson hides and silver seat piping. This unique vehicle was auctioned at the Naples Winter Wine Festival, raising $1.7 million for at-risk and underprivileged children.
With a quarter of Bentleys now leaving the Crewe factory featuring Mulliner content, the demand for greater personalisation and distinction is rising. David Parker, Mulliner’s Chief Commercial Officer, stated, "Our team of designers, engineers, and artisans strives to reflect each customer's taste and character, whether through exclusive paint and hide colours, materials, or bespoke features. Imagination is the only limit."
