Experience Automobili Pininfarina's PURA Vision: A Revolutionary Electric Luxury Debut at Lake Como's Concorso d'Eleganza 2024

Automobili Pininfarina's award-winning PURA Vision design concept will captivate audiences with its European debut at the prestigious Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este on the picturesque shores of Lake Como, Italy, from May 24-26, 2024.

Following its triumphant win of the Design Award at the 2021 event with the Battista pure-electric hyper GT, the Italian luxury brand has been eagerly awaited. This marked a historic first for an electric vehicle, earning such a distinguished accolade.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Como and the opulent Villa d'Este hotel, this event stands as a cornerstone of the European automotive calendar. It showcases a blend of the most luxurious, valuable, and influential historic vehicles alongside the boldest and most innovative concept cars.

The event attracts discerning clients and collectors worldwide, presenting an unparalleled opportunity to experience the PURA Vision concept—Automobili Pininfarina's bold and dramatic electric Luxury Utility Vehicle (e-LUV)—for the first time in Europe.

This revolutionary concept paves the way for Automobili Pininfarina's next-generation models, exemplified by the groundbreaking B95, the world's first pure-electric hyper Barchetta.

Dave Amantea, Chief Design Officer at Automobili Pininfarina, expressed excitement about the homecoming of PURA Vision, stating, "Bringing PURA Vision to Italy for its European debut at Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este is a significant moment for us. It showcases our forward-thinking design direction to an audience that deeply understands and appreciates innovation.”

PURA Vision has received international acclaim since its global unveiling at Monterey Car Week last August. It was recently awarded the prestigious 2024 iF Design Award for its seamless integration of timeless aesthetics with modern, connected electric luxury.

PURA Vision embodies Automobili Pininfarina’s PURA design philosophy with its elegant silhouette, dramatic proportions, and pristine surfacing. It artfully carries forward the legacy of classic Pininfarina SpA models while charting a future course for the brand.

This model makes a striking visual statement with its low hood and high fenders, drawing inspiration from the iconic 1947 Cisitalia, the first car to join the Museum of Modern Art's collection. Its dramatic cab-rear proportions and pillarless tri-opening lounge doors create a distinct presence and offer unrestricted access to its luxurious 2+2 cabin.

The vehicle's exterior is enhanced with meticulously crafted details, such as an anodised aluminium beltline that encircles the glasshouse, starting from the windshield and forming a sleek, continuous arc.

Inside, the cabin merges handcrafted luxury with cutting-edge technology. Soft semi-aniline leather is paired with a signature textile fabric, creating a sumptuous environment. Features like a rise-up central display, individual sound zones in the headrests, and an integrated wine cooler between the rear seats elevate the travel experience, offering unmatched contemporary luxury.
