Set to showcase one of the world's most challenging endurance races, the New MINI promises a thrilling display of speed, skill, and reliability as drivers tackle the iconic Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
Sporting a bespoke camouflage by the MINI Design Team, the petrol-powered New MINI John Cooper Works pays tribute to the iconic 1960s red and white colour schemes of classic Minis in motorsport. Slated for its world premiere in the fall of 2024, this launch marks a significant milestone in MINI's commitment to innovation and heritage, introducing petrol and all-electric versions to push the boundaries of speed and agility.
Celebrating 60 years since the Mini Cooper S's historic win at the 1964 Rallye Monte Carlo, the racecar sports a distinctive “37” logo, honouring MINI’s rich motorsport legacy. The New MINI John Cooper Works #317, entered by Bulldog Racing from Nürburg, will compete in the SP 3T category, embodying the fusion of MINI's iconic design and reliability with Bulldog Racing's proven track expertise.
The second contender, the black MINI John Cooper Works #474 with manual transmission, will return after securing a podium finish at last year’s 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Known as the MINI John Cooper Works PRO, this model stands as a formidable contender in the VT-2 category, ready to challenge fierce competition once more.
