Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera Debuts at Goodwood, Showcases Advanced Innovations

Hispano Suiza unveiled the Carmen Sagrera hypercar for the first time outside Spain at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed. Just a month after its Barcelona debut, the hypercar, celebrating Hispano Suiza's 120th anniversary, tackled its first kilometres on Goodwood's challenging hillclimb, reinforcing its stature in the automotive realm.

Hispano Suiza introduced one of this year's Festival of Speed highlights to the Goodwood audience.

On the opening morning of the event, the iconic Spanish brand spotlighted its latest creation for the media and dignitaries at its stand. British model and driver Jodie Kidd hosted the presentation alongside Hispano Suiza's CEO Sergio Martínez Campos, head of design Francesc Arenas, and CTO Juan Fernández. They provided attendees with a detailed exploration of the innovative features embedded in the new Carmen model.

Following the showcase, Hispano Suiza ambassador and former Formula 1 driver Luis Pérez-Sala took the Carmen Sagrera for its dynamic public debut. Boasting 1,114 hp from its electric engine, enhanced aerodynamics, and a new 103 kWh battery, this latest version of the Carmen showcased its racetrack-derived prowess.

Sergio Martínez Campos, CEO of Hispano Suiza, stated, "Presenting the new Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera in Goodwood to the enthusiastic British audience is truly an honour. This location represents the pinnacle of excellence and high performance, where Hispano Suiza rightfully belongs."

Luis Pérez-Sala added, "Driving the Hispano Suiza Carmen Sagrera for its first public kilometres at Goodwood was exhilarating. The challenging hillclimb course, combined with the enthusiastic reception from fans, made showcasing this hypercar an absolute delight. It feels like steering a thoroughbred racer."
