Hyundai Motor Group and NVIDIA Form Strategic Alliance to Pioneer AI-Driven Mobility Innovations
Hyundai Motor Group announced a strategic partnership with NVIDIA. The partnership aims to accelerate the development of advanced AI technologies that will drive the future of mobility.
At the forefront of the AI revolution, Hyundai Motor Group is actively integrating AI to lead in innovative mobility solutions. This partnership seeks to enhance intelligence application across its core mobility products, such as software-defined vehicles and robotics, and throughout its business operations.
Heung-Soo Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of the Hyundai Motor Group's global strategy office, said, "We are pioneering innovative AI applications across various sectors, including robotics, autonomous driving, and intelligent factories. This collaboration will significantly accelerate our efforts, positioning us as leaders in AI-enabled mobility innovation."
Under this partnership, Hyundai Motor Group will utilise NVIDIA's accelerated computing and AI Enterprise software to safely manage the extensive data necessary to develop and train AI models for diverse applications.
Furthermore, the Group intends to employ the NVIDIA Omniverse platform to develop physical AI and digital twin applications to simulate its factories. This will enhance manufacturing efficiency, improve quality, and reduce costs. The NVIDIA Isaac robot development platform will also develop and safely deploy AI robots.
Both parties will collaborate closely to develop virtual simulation environments, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of autonomous driving technology and robotics systems.
