INEOS Automotive Unveils Arcane Works: Exclusive Customisation Service for Limited-Edition Grenadier 4X4s
INEOS Automotive has launched Arcane Works, a pioneering service offering limited edition versions of the acclaimed Grenadier estate car. This service lets customers add a personal touch by customising these hand-finished, small-batch 4X4s with exclusive detailing and tailor-made materials.
The Grenadier retains its leading off-road prowess whilst integrating refined on-road performance. Each limited-edition series will feature unique attributes, introduce cutting-edge technologies, and bear a distinct name. Crafted in Germany, assembled in France at the INEOS Automotive facility acquired from Mercedes-Benz in 2021, and meticulously hand-finished, Arcane Works invites customers to collaborate with expertly selected artisans to choose from a wide range of finishes and colour-matching technologies, crafting a highly personalised 4X4.
Arcane Works leverages the durable body-on-frame design of the INEOS Grenadier to offer a choice between two powerful 3.0-litre BMW straight-six engines, the diesel BMW B57 and the petrol B58. Both are celebrated for their performance and have been regularly listed among the world's top engines since 2016. This custom service also serves as an innovation hub, testing new technologies and enhancements for INEOS vehicles, including advanced engine modifications, innovative chassis systems, and numerous novel materials and features.
The inaugural Arcane Works limited edition vehicle is set to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2024. George Ratcliffe, Commercial Director at INEOS Automotive, commented, "Arcane Works is designed to deliver a truly bespoke 4X4, handcrafted with unique materials and customised details by specially selected artisans. Our customers have expressed strong interest in such personalised options, and producing in limited quantities allows us to provide an authentically custom-made experience. The name 'Arcane' reflects the rarity and exclusivity of these vehicles, making them exceptional sightings in the wild."
