Volkswagen Unveils Exciting New ID.7 GTX Range: Discover High-Performance Electric Fastbacks and Estates with Extended Battery Life
Volkswagen launches the new ID.7 GTX – a dynamic fastback with a robust 250 kW (340 PS) and electric all-wheel drive, alongside the previously unveiled ID.7 GTX Tourer. Soon to hit the market are the rear-wheel-drive ID.7 Pro S and ID.7 Tourer Pro S, each boasting a robust 210 kW (286 PS) output—all four fresh IDs.Seven variants come standard with a potent 86-kWh battery.
Experience the power of the ID.7 GTX as it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds. As the most potent electric model in Volkswagen's lineup, this fastback delivers thrilling performance with its dual-motor all-wheel drive system, propelling power smoothly from standstill to speed. Additionally, it offers a remarkable WLTP range of up to 595 km and can charge its 86-kWh battery up to 80% in only 26 minutes at 200 kW DC fast charging stations.
The ID.7 GTX stands out with its unique GTX styling and upgraded standard features. Highlights include 20-inch Skagen alloy wheels and IQ. LIGHT LED matrix headlights and exclusive GTX interior touches include heated seats with red stitching and 30-colour ambient lighting. It also has advanced technologies like wireless App-Connect, an augmented reality head-up display, and an IDA voice assistant with integrated ChatGPT AI.
The ID.7 GTX Tourer, known as the most potent Volkswagen estate, mirrors the GTX fastback in technology but offers up to 605 litres of luggage space, maintaining the generous capacity characteristic of the ID.7 line. This model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds and can travel up to 585 km on a single charge.
They are upgrading from the previous models, the new ID.7 Pro S and ID.7 Tourer Pro S now feature an 86-kWh battery, extending their ranges significantly to 690 km and 709 km, respectively. These models set a new benchmark in the electric vehicle segment, rivalling traditional combustion engine models in the range. They continue to offer the high-quality features found in the Pro versions, setting a new standard in electric mobility.
