This agreement is pivotal to XPENG's broader European strategy, positioning the UK as a crucial market for expansion. This partnership underscores XPENG's global dedication to providing AI-driven, sustainable mobility solutions globally.
Renowned for nearly 50 years of service, IML excels in distributing automotive brands across the UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe. IML's robust operations span from vehicle importation to after-sales support, fostering significant growth by partnering with various manufacturers and expanding its market reach.
The first model to launch in the UK is the eagerly awaited XPENG G6, a mid-size ultra-smart coupe SUV with zero tailpipe emissions. This all-electric vehicle marries premium technology with cutting-edge features like 800-volt supercharging and an extended driving range. Designed with European consumers in mind, the G6 offers a revolutionary driving experience that meets the increasing demand for advanced technology seamlessly integrated with state-of-the-art systems.

This announcement reaffirms XPENG's commitment to expanding its footprint in the European market. Since beginning deliveries in Norway at the end of 2020, XPENG has launched its advanced vehicles in several countries, including Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Iceland, Spain, and Portugal, with further expansion planned. Recently, the XPENG G6 received a Euro NCAP 5-star safety rating, highlighting its commitment to safety and innovation. By the end of 2025, XPENG aims to operate in over 60 global markets, targeting half of its sales from international markets.
