Introducing Project: 'MADMAC'.

Lanzante and 'Mad Mike' Whiddett unite for their most ambitious project yet – a daring statement for both. Their collaboration brings a groundbreaking drift hypercar set to debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024.

Crafted from the track-focused McLaren P1 GTR, 'MADMAC' epitomises the synergy between two automotive innovators, Lanzante and 'Mad Mike'. With the initial stages completed in the UK, the McLaren transforms Mike's 'Mad Lab' in New Zealand, geared for the ultimate drift-spec treatment.

Lanzante's expertise in McLaren conversions pairs seamlessly with Mad Mike's reputation as a top-tier drifter. Together, alongside the O'Gara Coach luxury group, renowned for its exceptional cars, they push boundaries to create an unparalleled machine.

Dean Lanzante recalls, "The project stemmed from our encounter with Mike at Goodwood last year. His visit sparked discussions on pushing the limits further. We pride ourselves on extreme builds, but Mike saw it as an opportunity to elevate the game."

'Mad Mike' adds, "As a proud Kiwi, I'm driven to push this McLaren project to its limits and beyond – taking it worldwide... sideways!"

With past feats like teaching Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen to drift and pioneering projects such as Red Bull's 'Conquer the Crown', 'Mad Mike' is a trailblazer in innovative automotive ventures. His repertoire includes the custom drift-spec Lamborghini Huracan 'NIMBUL' and the world's first 5-rotor drift machine, inspired by the iconic Mazda 787B.

Stay tuned as details unfold across Lanzante, O'Gara Coach, and 'Mad Mike's' platforms. 'MADMAC' is poised to make a bold statement at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July.
