KAMManufaktur Unveils Expanded Team to Propel Innovations in 912c Carbon Fibre Restomods

Founded in 2022, KAMManufaktur specialises in producing the acclaimed 912c, a carbon fibre restomod inspired by the classic Porsche 912. The company has recently announced the expansion of its team with the addition of Zsolt Janvari from Dallara, who played a crucial role in the highly esteemed Turbo Study at Singer Vehicle Design.

Founder Miki Kázmér has consistently assembled top designers, engineers, and craftspeople worldwide, all sharing his vision to create the lightest, most engaging versions of the legendary 912. The team includes alums from Porsche Motorsport and Singer and highly respected partners who have collaborated with brands such as BMW and Koenigsegg.

"Having the vision for the ultimate lightweight driver's car is one thing, but bringing that idea to fruition is quite another," states KAMM's founder, Miki Kázmér. "I am not a carmaker by trade; I am a filmmaker, and to make the best film, you need talent in both cast and crew. I apply the same approach with KAMM. I need the best people around me to make my dream cars the best they can be. We have assembled a skilled and dedicated KAMM family just two years after launching KAMM."

Zsolt Janvari has recently joined KAMManufaktur as the Head of Production and Electrical Engineering. Renowned for his contributions to automotive engineering and motorsport, Janvari was instrumental at Dallara and in creating the Turbo Study at Singer Vehicle Design. His experience includes work on the Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar and various positions in Formula 1 with Haas and Williams Racing.

Partner and lead engineer Sandor Kekedi, who also heads the carbon fibre department, has vast experience in motorsport, including roles in numerous rally teams and involvement in developing a BMW i8 racing series. His expertise in carbon fibre helped him create a restomod take on the BMW E9 GR5 racing car, which has enabled him to guide KAMManufaktur in creating some of the lightest sports cars available.

Sandor Pader, Assembly Lead for Body and Chassis, has over 15 years of Porsche restoration experience, including building two aluminium 550 replica models. Pader is responsible for meticulously restoring each donor 912 before its transformation and overseeing the precise fitment of every carbon fibre panel used in the 912c.

Gabor Galambos, the motor builder for KAMManufaktur, comes from a traditional race engine building background. He is renowned in Hungary for his 9000rpm, 236bhp, 1.6 litre 8-valve Lada engines and has mastered the art of enhancing performance from naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engines.

Engine design, simulation, and calibration experts Balint Szabo and Nimrod Ludescher, who founded BDN Automotive, have quickly made their mark at some of the industry's top names, including Koenigsegg. They are now integral members of the KAMManufaktur team, dedicating hundreds of hours to creating engine configurations and conducting virtual testing on every engine on the dyno.

The extensive KAMManufaktur team also includes Mechanical Engineer Gergő Szűcs, who boasts 15 years of Porsche restoration experience, along with Engine builder Gábor Budavári, a motorsport veteran, and Gearbox Engineer Márk Futó. The KAMM body shop is staffed by Robert Peres, with 15 years of Porsche metalwork experience, and Zoltán Ötvös, a classic metal shaper previously producing Lancia Aurelia outlaw bodies.

This dream team, with decades of experience in crafting not only some of the world's most excellent sports cars but also race cars, rally cars, and F1 cars, is dedicated to meticulously crafting the 750kg Semi-Carbon and 699kg Full-Carbon KAMM 912c ultra-lightweight models. These feature a 2.0 litre, 185hp four-cylinder, air-cooled engine, creating the ultimate analogue drivers' cars.

The first production KAMM will soon be delivered to Miami, with additional cars under construction destined for the US, Europe, Australia, and Singapore. Each promises performance and exclusivity, fulfilling the company's ethos: Dare to Drive.
