Rare Aston Martin DBZ Centenary Collection Hits the Market: Own a Piece of Automotive History with Nicholas Mee & Co

Nicholas Mee & Company, a specialist in Aston Martin vehicles, is currently offering for sale two of the rarest Aston Martins ever built at £3,750,000. The DBZ Centenary Collection, launched in 2019, pairs a classic DB4 GT Zagato Continuation with a contemporary DBS GT Zagato, initially priced at over £6.1m plus local taxes. This collection, limited to just 19 pairs, celebrates the legendary partnership between Aston Martin and Zagato on the centenary of the famed Milanese coachbuilder, epitomising the fusion of historic craftsmanship and modern innovation.

Collectors worldwide now have the unique opportunity to acquire these automotive masterpieces. The DB4 GT Zagato, with only 19 units produced in the 1960s, is predominantly held in private collections and seldom appears on the market. Aston Martin has offered these Continuation models, constructed at their Heritage centre in Newport Pagnell, with meticulous 1960s specifications enhanced by contemporary engineering.

This sale includes both cars finished in Caribbean Pearl over Dark Blue hides, in pristine 'as delivered' condition with only delivery mileage. It marks the first time the DBZ Centenary Collection has been available on the open market, representing a substantial saving from the original price.

Nicholas Mee, the founder of Nicholas Mee & Co, comments, "In my over 40 years in the Aston Martin business, the demand for Zagato variants has never diminished. These cars, beautifully crafted and incredibly rare, continue to top collectors' wish lists. This DBZ Centenary Collection, unlikely to be repeated, offers a chance to own a piece of automotive history."

The DBS GT Zagato, based on Aston Martin's acclaimed DBS Superleggera chassis and powered by a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, produces 760 bhp and 900nm of torque. It features bespoke Zagato styling, including a carbon fibre 'double bubble' roof and an active front grille, combining luxury with significant performance enhancements. This modern classic model is poised to become a coveted collector’s item, even more exclusive than the famed One-77.
