Maserati and Giorgetti Elevate Italian Craftsmanship at 2025 Milan Design Week

Maserati and Giorgetti, two icons of Italian craftsmanship, proudly unveiled their new collaboration at the 2025 Milan Design Week. They introduce a sophisticated interior collection and a one-off Fuoriserie Grecale. This partnership unites timeless elegance with cutting-edge innovation, epitomising the meticulous artistry and creative flair that characterises the best of Italy.

They base their alliance on shared values: precise attention to detail, the relentless pursuit of perfection, and the ambition to provide extraordinary experiences. Both brands embody the Italian notion of “beautiful and well-crafted,” captivating discerning audiences who demand uncompromising quality. Together, they inspire each other, sparking inventive dialogues and imaginative endeavours.

“At Maserati, we have always embraced interior design as part of our heritage. We craft our vehicles and Giorgetti furniture to go beyond mere functionality, aiming to create experiences that stir emotion and leave lasting impressions. Fuoriserie, meaning ‘out of the ordinary’ in Italian, defines our customisation programme, conceived to deliver unique masterpieces. Collaborating with Giorgetti led us to create the Grecale Giorgetti Edition, an exclusive statement of innovation and refinement that reflects the Trident’s unceasing experimentation and Giorgetti’s enduring sophistication,” explains Klaus Busse, Maserati Head of Design.

“The union between Giorgetti and Maserati transcends a standard collaboration, a dialogue between two Italian powerhouses. We initially examined Maserati’s distinctive design but never intended to replicate automotive forms in furniture. Instead, we allowed Maserati’s spirit of luxury and performance to permeate our design language. What emerged surpasses mere branding; it is a collection that radiates a vision of elegance and innovation, crafted to stand the test of time,” states Giancarlo Bosio, Giorgetti Creative Director.

The Giorgetti Maserati Edition collection embarks on an epic voyage between sea and sky, guided by Neptune’s trident as its muse. Every piece draws inspiration from mythology and untameable natural forces, paying homage to Maserati’s rich iconography and enduring link to winds and seas that have always shaped its automotive masterpieces. Each design honours nymphs, ethereal figures whose beauty and strength mirror the winds that define Maserati models. Nereide, representing wisdom and power, is a modular sofa resting upon a solid ash wood base. At the same time, Seidon channels the sleek lines of automobiles into a distinctive sofa that harmonises seat and backrest. The sculptural Lorelei armchair and sofa cradle those who sit in them in an inviting embrace, and the Teti pouf impresses with its understated elegance and geometric flair. The Ligea coffee tables reinterpret the dynamic contours of automotive air intakes, while the Sibilia coffee table, crowned by a vertical element, conjures the resonance of the wind. Ploto glides on wheels, reflecting the fluidity of waves, and Neomeris captures the sea’s perpetual restlessness.

The Maserati Giorgetti Edition epitomises “rolling tailoring,” celebrating elegance, Italian heritage, and an unwavering attention to detail. It is a Grecale Folgore full-electric one-off, crafted in Modena’s newly opened Officine Fuoriserie workshops, where technology meets traditional artisanship for the most refined car customisation. This Grecale Giorgetti Edition appears in a bespoke Gleaming Dusk hue with matching inserts on the grille and 21-inch Glossy Black wheels featuring a grey clearcoat. Copper-coloured brake callipers and the Fuoriserie logo add further distinction. Inside, the denim-coloured leather upholstery pays homage to Giorgetti’s vision of a homely ambience, featuring an exclusive Giorgetti woolly four-thread fabric (in denim, white mélange, black, and copper), also found in the Giorgetti Maserati Edition interior collection. For the first time, the iconic Trident on the denim Alcantara headrests is carved from grey-blue wood, while the tunnel, dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels showcase denim leather adorned with refined stitched graphics. Stainless steel and wood door sills, laser-etched with ‘Due icone, una visione’ (Two icons, one vision) and ‘Eleganza senza tempo’ (Timeless elegance), complete this heartfelt tribute to Italian excellence.

Maserati and Giorgetti unveiled the interior collection and the bespoke Grecale today at the Milanese Spiga and Maserati showrooms for a private preview. From 8th April, design aficionados and automotive enthusiasts can immerse themselves in these creations first-hand, experiencing the unrivalled artistry and innovation that define both brands.
