Rev Up with the Electrifying New BMW M5: Experience the Future of High-Performance Saloons

The BMW M5 charges into a new era, boasting a 40-year heritage. This iconic high-performance saloon from BMW M GmbH launches its seventh generation electrified for the first time. The bespoke M HYBRID system endows the new BMW M5 with a mighty 727 hp and a peak torque of 1,000 Nm. This setup combines a high-revving V8 engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology and an electric motor, all orchestrated by an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and M xDrive all-wheel drive, enabling a sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds.

The new BMW M5 delivers formidable power and a thrilling performance experience, underpinned by a fresh take on high-performance car design. Standout features include extended wheel arches and side skirts, a sculptural front apron, and unique surfacing around the C-pillar, featuring an embossed “M5” logo. These elements lend the car a more distinctive, athletic look than ever before, setting it apart from the BMW 5 Series Saloon.

The exterior design complements the luxurious interior ambiance, highlighted with M-specific features, embodying the new BMW M5's multi-layered character. Its composure and assertiveness come from vast power reserves, ready to be unleashed whether on quiet electric cruises, spirited long-distance drives, or full-throttle track days.

The M HYBRID system, powertrain, and chassis technology are finely tuned to provide the M5 with exceptional dynamic performance, making it unrivalled in its segment for both transverse and longitudinal dynamics. This, combined with its remarkable elasticity, propels M performance to new heights.

BMW Retailers across the UK are now accepting orders for the new BMW M5, set to make its first appearance and world premiere at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2024. Production will commence at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing in July 2024, with first deliveries in the UK scheduled for November 2024, coinciding with the launch of the new BMW M5 Touring. The primary markets for this high-performance saloon include North America and Europe, with the USA anticipated to be the largest market, followed by the UK, Poland, Germany, South Korea, Japan, and China.
