Rowland and Nato Rev Up for Nissan in the 2024/25 Formula E Championship
The Nissan Formula E Team is poised for the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship with a formidable pair: Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato. This duo blends experience with competitive spirit, setting the stage for an exhilarating season.
Oliver Rowland returns after a commendable Season 10, clinching two victories, including a triumphant home win. He achieved fourth in the overall standings with two pole positions and five additional podium finishes. Meanwhile, Norman Nato, a proven winner in Formula E, rejoins the Japanese squad following a productive Season 9. Nato was consistently in the points, securing the team’s first podium finish under full Nissan ownership at the 2023 Rome E-Prix.
The forthcoming season introduces GEN3 Evo technology, promising swifter and more efficient cars. The team is set for unprecedented success with a record 17 races on the calendar, including inaugural and returning races in cities like Miami and Jakarta.
Pre-season testing commences at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia this November, paving the way for the season opener in São Paulo in December. Tommaso Volpe, Team Principal, is optimistic about the refreshed lineup and technological advancements.
As the team part ways with Sacha Fenestraz, who played a pivotal role in its development, they anticipate new achievements. Rowland and Nato are determined to elevate their performance and achieve greater consistency throughout the season.
