Gear Up for Aston Martin Vantage GT3's Thrilling Return at the 6 Hours of Fuji This Weekend!

The Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is back in action this weekend at the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) at the 6 Hours of Fuji, Japan. Hot on the heels of its first seasonal win by The Heart of Racing (THoR) at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) just under a fortnight ago, the British ultra-luxury sports car brand is eager to sustain its winning streak. THoR led from pole, recording the fastest LMGT3 class lap and securing its inaugural WEC victory.

D’station Racing, Aston Martin Racing's associate team, will compete on home soil this weekend. Located near the Mount Fuji circuit, D’station Racing is looking to improve on its best of third in class, achieved at Fuji last year and at this season's opener in Qatar.

Under the leadership of former WEC racer Satoshi Hoshino and managed by SUPER GT Series winner Tomonobu Fujii, the team's roster includes Aston Martin's most acclaimed active works driver, Marco Sørensen, among others. They are all set to vie for top honours once again.

Meanwhile, THoR views the Fuji race as a crucial opportunity to close the points gap in the LMGT3 class standings. Following a breakthrough victory at COTA, they are now merely nine points off second place and keen to advance. The championship battle is intensely competitive, with 65 points still up for grabs this season.

Adam Carter, Head of Aston Martin Endurance Motorsport, voiced his optimism about the Vantage GT3, praising its solid performance at COTA. As the teams gear up for the forthcoming race, Aston Martin anticipates another robust showing.

Based on the newly unveiled road model and equipped with a powerful twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine, the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 is a formidable contender. Its impressive record at Fuji, securing victories in various configurations and numerous podium finishes, highlights its prowess in the WEC.
