Unleash Speed with Caterham’s Seven 485 and 485 CSR Final Editions: Europe’s Fastest Limited-Edition Sports Cars Now Available

Caterham officially launched the Seven 485 and 485 CSR Final Edition (FE) in Europe, introducing their quickest production car, which debuted on European roads in 2014. These limited-edition models, restricted to just 85 units (60 for the 485 FE and 25 for the 485 CSR FE), start at €67,495, excluding VAT and local taxes.

Each car features the exclusive Final Edition trim, offering top-tier specifications and allowing for personalised customisation. The FE models boast Sports Hex Black, Alcantara and black leather seats with Final Edition embroidery, a carbon dashboard, fully carpeted interiors, satin black stripes, black badging, a unique numbered plaque, and five premium colours.

The four-cylinder naturally aspirated Ford Duratec 2.0-litre engine powers both models. This powerhouse revs up to 8,500 rpm, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, and achieves a maximum speed of 224 km/h, making it the most potent EU-6 compliant Seven available. The 485 FE offers standard and large chassis options, while the 485 CSR FE comes exclusively in a large chassis with inboard suspensions.

Olivier Jouanne, European Territory Manager for Caterham, expressed mixed emotions about the release, stating, "Introducing the Seven 485 Final Edition signifies both an end and a celebration. It's the culmination of a decade of exceptional popularity, particularly in our DACH markets, and offers fans a final chance to own the most exhilarating, naturally aspirated Seven ever made."

In addition to the European market, Caterham will release ten units of the Seven 480 FE exclusively for Japan.

Orders for the Caterham 485 and 485 CSR FE are now open, promising a thrilling blend of tradition and top-flight performance.
