Unleash Superior Performance: Pirelli Introduces Cutting-Edge P Zero Corsa Tyres for Iconic Ferrari Series

Pirelli has completed developing and testing the new P Zero Corsa System tyre, specifically designed for the iconic Enzo Ferrari, at the Fiorano circuit. The tyre retains the original size and aspect ratio while incorporating advanced materials, compounds, and technologies to enhance grip, performance, and safety to contemporary standards. This tyre, optimised for peak performance in dry and wet conditions, is available in the original 245/35 R19 (front) and 345/35 R19 (rear) sizes, featuring innovative directional and asymmetric tread patterns to prevent aquaplaning effectively.

Ferrari has also officially endorsed the P Zero and P Zero Corsa System tyres for the Collezione range, previously launched by Pirelli as aftermarket products for the legendary F40 and F50. Marking a historic moment, the 1987 launch of the F40 introduced the first high-performance car equipped with the Pirelli P Zero tyre. Pirelli has now released an updated version of this tyre, maintaining the original dimensions of 245/40 R17 (front) and 335/35 R17 (rear) and preserving the authentic tyre wall lettering.

Furthermore, Pirelli has rigorously tested the P Zero Corsa System tyres for the 1995 Ferrari F50, available in sizes 245/35 R18 (front) and 335/30 R18 (rear), at Fiorano to guarantee they match the original tyres’ performance, handling characteristics, and feel.

Pirelli is developing a particular tyre for the 1984 GTO, aligning with Ferrari's commitment to celebrating the model with a Legacy Tour. This tour, scheduled from the 1st to the 4th October, will journey from the Italian Dolomites to Maranello. The GTO's tyre, a P7 Cinturato, stems from Pirelli's extensive experience in the World Rally Championship starting in 1974 and subsequently introduced to production sports cars in 1976. It features a low aspect ratio for sharper handling and will be available in the original sizes of 225/50 R16 (front) and 265/50 R16 (rear), combining a classic appearance with modern technology.

With the official approval of these replacement tyres for four iconic Ferrari supercars, Ferrari reaffirms its dedication to ensuring that owners of these historical vehicles can safely enjoy driving them on modern roads.
