Radical has launched several upgrades for its 2025 (MY25) race cars across the SR XXR range, offering customers early access to next season's models at this year’s prices.
Revealed in a striking Daytona Green with matching accents, the bespoke SR10 XXR showcases its customisation prowess, ensuring it stands out in the paddock. Every option available at Radical’s Cambridgeshire factory emphasises the latest MY25 upgrades, focusing on enhanced safety, reliability, performance, and personalisation.
Prioritising safety, Radical introduces new seating options for the SR3 XXR and SR10 XXR. A new carbon single seat, crafted in response to customer demand primarily from the USA, features an integrated headrest made from lighter, stronger, pre-impregnated carbon fibre. This seat is available in various configurations, including left-hand, right-hand, and centre-hand drive.
Enhanced safety comes through Kevlar inserts and robust seat mounts for those preferring the twin-seat setup for coaching or thrilling passenger rides. All seating options offer improved harnesses in four colour choices, adding comfort and customisation.
In its pursuit of reliability, Radical Motorsport refines its cars using advanced computer modelling and real-world testing. Innovations include a redesigned bellhousing for the SR10 XXR that resists cracking and a new production method for the carbon fibre front splitter using aerospace-grade epoxy for increased durability and fit.
Radical’s deep understanding of aerodynamics has fine-tuned the SR10 XXR’s side-pods to shift the balance and reduce understeer at high speeds. Adjustments to the steering rack ratio enhance driver comfort, reducing fatigue and increasing enjoyment on the track.
Moreover, a new lightweight flywheel and clutch in the SR10 XXR improve throttle response and downshifts, decreasing brake zone times and enhancing handling.
Personalisation features, like custom bodywork colours and lightweight Braid wheels, allow owners to personalise their cars without sacrificing performance. Drivers can choose from various harness colours and even opt for factory-applied custom liveries. Once customised and inspected, eachvehicler is photographed and prepared for shipment to over 20 countries through Radical’s extensive dealer network.
