Unveiling the New Bentley Continental GT: A Modern Classic Reimagined

Bentley Motors proudly announces the completion of the first fourth-generation Continental GT, marking Walter Owen Bentley's 136th birthday. This milestone model mirrors the car's specifications featured in the celebrated ‘Underwater Speed Record’ and launch film. Adorned in Tourmaline Green with a Gravity Grey and Mandarin interior, this Continental GT will first serve in the UK Press Fleet before permanently joining Bentley’s Heritage Collection.

Andreas Lehe, Bentley’s Board Member for Manufacturing, shares his excitement about the production launch: "The fourth-generation Continental GT stands as a true masterpiece. Our in-house craftspeople have modernised the iconic Bentley Green to create the striking Tourmaline Green. The production journey encompassed an impressive 92 assembly stations. We've revolutionised interior design with three-dimensional leather textures, modern quilting, and dark chrome finishes. Our artisans in Crewe have surpassed themselves, crafting every detail to radiate luxury."

The Continental GT Speed epitomises the ultimate mix of supercar performance and handcrafted luxury, suitable for daily use. It sports a thorough redesign inside and out, influenced by the modern design DNA of the coachbuilt Bentley Bacalar and Batur.

A brand-new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain powers the car, delivering 782 PS and 1,000 Nm from a 4.0-litre V8 with a 190 PS electric motor. It accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds and offers a 50-mile electric-only range, alongside a total range of 534 miles, making it a supercar for everyday use.

This unique Continental GT will eventually become part of Bentley’s Heritage Collection. This collection now boasts 45 cars, ranging from the world’s oldest Bentley, the 1919 3-Litre EXP2, to the latest 2024 Continental GT. It showcases some of the most extraordinary models from every decade of Bentley’s 105-year history.
