Unveiling Polestar's Exclusive Arctic Circle Car Collection

Polestar has launched an exclusive 'Arctic Circle' car collection, building on the success of the original 2022 Polestar 2 Arctic Circle. Adding the new Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 models completes a robust line-up of one-off, rally-inspired vehicles that reflect the Swedish brand's high-performance ethos. These vehicles will be unveiled publicly on February 1 at the 2025 FAT Ice Race in Zell am See, Austria.

Polestar CEO Michael Lohscheller comments, "The Arctic Circle collection showcases our distinctive performance DNA and blends motorsport roots with Scandinavian aesthetics. We test our vehicles in the extreme conditions of the Arctic Circle in Sweden, and at the FAT Ice Race, we'll demonstrate that Polestar cars are unmatched on ice. We're thrilled to participate in this event, celebrating car culture and performance driving."

The creation of the Arctic Circle range has been overseen by Joakim Rydholm, Polestar's Head of Driving Dynamics. A seasoned motorsport professional with numerous Swedish rally podiums and over three decades of experience, Rydholm and the Polestar Design and Brand teams have adapted the rally-inspired approach across the entire model range, with each vehicle featuring unique elements.

Rydholm states, "The original Polestar 2 Arctic Circle was a remarkable project, and extending this approach to our new SUVs has been both enjoyable and challenging. In collaboration with top technology partners, we've engineered custom solutions highlighting our performance DNA and delivering an exhilarating driving experience."

Manufactured in Polestar’s Swedish R&D facilities, these cars are equipped with a standard rally setup that includes increased ride height, custom 3-way adjustable Öhlins dampers, specialised Pirelli studded tyres, and new OZ Racing wheels featuring the ‘Rally Legend’ design. Additional enhancements such as Quad Evo front spotlights from Stedi, Recaro bucket seats, and various accessories like skis, roof racks, storage options, and recovery equipment enhance their rally capability while promoting Polestar’s brand partnerships.
