Introducing the All-New Morgan Plus Four: Unveiling the Future of Classic Luxury and Performance

The latest Morgan Plus Four epitomises the company's commitment to top-tier craftsmanship and engineering integrity, delivering the purest expression of the four-wheeled Morgan sports car. Continuing the rich legacy of the company's longest-running nameplate, the newest Plus Four boasts a range of design, dynamic, and technological enhancements shaped by over 70 years of evolution.

Massimo Fumarola, CEO of Morgan Motor Company, stated, "We're proud to carry on the incredible legacy of the Plus Four – dating back to 1950 – with this latest model. We've honoured the spirit of the original while reimagining it for today's discerning customers. The latest Plus Four is unmistakably a Morgan designed for today's drivers."

The design goal for the new Plus Four was to streamline and minimise visual clutter, accentuating the timeless silhouette. Notable updates include new lighting, wings, front splitter, rear diffuser, and floating front and rear number plate plinths, resulting in a refreshed visual identity and a cleaner overall appearance. The new front and rear lights, developed exclusively for Morgan, break free from conventional constraints, showcasing the company's commitment to enhancing usability and quality while preserving its timeless appeal.

The latest Plus Four introduces redesigned front and rear wings, crafted using a cold-forming technique for enhanced surfacing and sculpted volume. Paired with new front splitter and rear diffuser designs featuring a floating number plate plinth, these updates pay homage to classic Morgan sports cars while adding a contemporary touch. A new model badge featuring Morgan's HFS Bold typeface offers a modern interpretation of classic automotive brand design.

Prioritising driving experience over performance metrics, the Plus Four offers dynamic performance that rewards the driver with a greater connection to the road. The latest BMW 2.0-litre engine powers it and is available in manual and automatic transmission variants.

The latest Plus Four features updated standard suspension with new spring rates and re-valved dampers. Additionally, an optional Dynamic Handling Pack, developed with suspension experts Nitron, enhances dynamic performance with new springs, adjustable damping, adjustable spring platform, and a rear anti-roll bar. Updates such as the Sennheiser audio system, LCD screen enhancements, new interior illumination, and a redesigned key fob enhance occupant interaction, seamlessly integrating modern technology while preserving the car's timeless appeal.

In line with Morgan's philosophy of '21st Century Coachbuilding,' each Plus Four combines traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, ensuring the highest quality reflective of a modern sports car. Every Plus Four is bespoke as standard, allowing owners to customise their vehicle to their preferences. From colourways to additional materials and features, each Plus Four is a unique masterpiece.

The new Morgan Plus Four is now available for order, with production starting in May 2024. Test drives will be available at UK and European dealerships beginning in June. Prospective buyers are encouraged to register interest with their nearest Morgan dealership or through the official Morgan website. Morgan is pursuing homologation for the new Plus Four in the United States, marking the first four-wheeled Morgan to achieve this since 2006.
