Unveiling the Ultra-Light Full-Carbon KAMManufaktur 912c: Breaking the 700kg Barrier!

Revolutionising the legendary 912 sports car, Budapest-based KAMManufaktur maximises performance and usability while preserving its timeless aesthetics and analogue driving experience.

Introduced in 2022, the KAMM 912c garnered global acclaim for its exceptional fusion of high-performance and lightweight design. Crafted with a semi-carbon body, this 750kg resto-mod retained its original steel roof and rear quarter panels. It is seamlessly integrated with KAMM-manufactured carbon fibre panels, ensuring extensive weight reduction.

New for 2024 is the full carbon fibre option for the 912c, replacing every body panel with premium KAMM-manufactured carbon fibre. Anticipated to weigh an astonishing 699kg in full road-legal trim, this configuration offers a remarkable weight saving of over 300 kilograms compared to the standard 912 and more than 50kg over the semi-carbon model. Owners opting for the full carbon fibre body can select from a range of finish options, from exposed weave to classic painted aesthetics.

Founder Miklós Kázmér expressed, "At KAMM, we relentlessly pursue weight reduction while enhancing driving dynamics. With the full carbon 912c, our goal is to achieve near-perfect 50-50 weight distribution by shedding weight from the rear and top of the car."

Also debuting in 2024 is a bespoke design service that provides owners a tailored experience. Following an initial technical specification meeting with Founder Miklós Kázmér, clients engage in a design consultation phase, ensuring creating a truly unique vehicle. Each 912c model is distinct, with every detail bespoke, offering limitless options for seats, wheels, exterior and interior finishes, and custom liveries.

The 2024 912c will feature a plethora of technical upgrades, including a more potent air-cooled, 4-cylinder engine, redesigned KAMM seats, enhanced aerodynamics for improved high-speed stability and reduced wind noise, upgraded air conditioning, and enhanced in-car audio and phone connectivity. Detailed specifications will be revealed soon.

Miklós Kázmér emphasised, "As a perfectionist, I continuously seek innovative ways to enhance the 912c. Our new carbon fibre body exemplifies this, boasting impeccable fit, remarkable strength, and further weight savings. The 2024 912c will also offer enhancements to elevate driving pleasure and enrich ownership experience."

The 2024 full-carbon KAMM 912c starts at €400,000, including a donor 912. Customers can opt to supply their own 912 for conversion, priced at €360,000.

The semi-carbon KAMM 912c is priced at €360,000 in standard specification and €320,000 with a donor 912.

KAMM is now accepting orders for the last remaining 2024 build slots. For more information, contact KAMM headquarters directly.
