Discover Lunaz: Pioneering the Future of Electrified Classic British Cars

Lunaz, renowned for rejuvenating the most iconic cars in British automotive history, is shaping the future with its rapid export growth and increasing secondary market value. These developments underscore a worldwide endorsement of Lunaz's vision: to fuse revolutionary technology with timeless aesthetics from an age when beauty was paramount. Such achievements signal a promising horizon for continual growth, enabling Lunaz to sustain its investment in top-tier restoration, engineering, and design talent. Indeed, our team in Silverstone has skillfully raised these vehicles to unmatched standards, catering to an expanding, diverse global clientele," stated David Lorenz, Founder & CEO of Lunaz.

Lunaz's dedication to creating the world's most sought-after electrified classic cars is confirmed by a surge in international demand, enhanced market values, and heightened interest in models like Aston Martin, Bentley, Jaguar, Range Rover, and Rolls-Royce.

Internationally, orders have surged by 150% year-on-year, with significant markets including the US, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, France, Monaco, and India. Meanwhile, 35% of orders to 2026 will remain within the UK, Lunaz's home market.

This surge is fuelled by clients who cherish the heritage and aesthetic yet seek improved driving and ownership experiences. These clients, hailing from the US, UK, Europe, and the Middle East, are primarily first-time classic car owners committed to preserving exemplary automotive design.

The Lunaz restoration process starts with a comprehensive bare-metal restoration, which requires over 5,500 hours. This sets the ideal stage for customers to engage closely with our in-house designers, engineers, and restoration experts to personalise their vehicles.

The outcome is a car that beautifully merges classic styling with modern functionality and dynamic driving experiences. This is achieved through bespoke electric powertrain technology, enhanced braking and suspension, and modern tech and infotainment features.

Since May 2024, all production slots for delivery in 2025 have been filled, with orders now reaching into late 2026. As global demand for these electrified classics and the broader restomod market grows, so does the value of individual projects.

Clients are investing significantly in the Lunaz process, selecting rare vehicles and customising them with high-end materials, finishes, and technological advancements. This has resulted in an 18% rise in the average transaction value.

Moreover, Lunaz's commitment to its clients is evidenced by a robust secondary market in which cars appreciate an average of 22%.

Lunaz's meticulous restoration and electrification approach has been applied to some of the world’s most collectable vehicles, including a 1958 Bentley Continental by James Young, one of only 13 left. This car, delivered to a client in France, was restored to enhance family enjoyment and address the usability challenges of vintage vehicles. The owner was so impressed that they secured additional build slots for the Jaguar, Bentley, and Range Rover models for the next four years.

Another exceptional project was a 1956 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud prepared for a European luxury car collector. This car, designed for evenings in London, includes a bespoke humidor and complementary accessories tailored for the client’s preferred cigars, presenting a seamless blend of elegance and functionality.

Moreover, Lunaz has tailored Range Rover Classics to be as adept off-road as they are in urban settings, with custom options perfect for field sports and coastal living.
