Experience the All-New Škoda Elroq vRS: High-Performance Electric SUV with Over 340 Miles of Range

Škoda has introduced the powerful vRS variant of the all-electric Elroq just six months after the new model’s global unveiling in the popular electric compact SUV segment. Dual motors deliver a combined output of 340 PS (250 kW), with all-wheel drive ensuring an exhilarating experience on every journey. The Elroq vRS provides over 340 miles of electric range (WLTP), including exclusive vRS detailing and extensive standard features. It is currently the fastest-accelerating vehicle in Škoda’s lineup, launching from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.4 seconds.

Johannes Neft, Škoda Auto Board Member for Technical Development, comments:
“Škoda vRS models have always blended dynamic performance and sporty styling with balanced handling and practicality. The Elroq vRS perfectly upholds this tradition, offering 340 PS (250 kW) and a more than 550-kilometre range. Its DCC adaptive chassis deftly combines sportiness with exceptional comfort. This new addition also brings the Modern Solid design language to our vRS lineup, complemented by the distinctive high-gloss Tech-Deck Face and signature black accents. Overall, the Elroq vRS is the ideal everyday companion.”

As the first Škoda production model to fully embody the new Modern Solid design language, the striking top-tier version of the Elroq will appear at Milan Design Week 2025. After its digital world premiere, it will be showcased in Italy from 8 to 13 April, marking the model’s first public reveal. Italian artist and designer Marcantonio’s animal and plant sculptures will line the display area, symbolising Škoda’s nature-inspired campaign theme and offering visitors a unique interactive experience. In collaboration with Czech footwear manufacturer Botas, limited-edition shoe collections inspired by Skoda Elroq’s design and materials will also be bought.

In the Škoda Elroq vRS, one electric motor powers the front axle while another drives the rear, producing 340 PS (250 kW) and enabling confident all-wheel drive. The car sprints from 0 to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 111 mph. An 84 kWh (79 kWh net) high-voltage battery delivers a WLTP-tested range of over 340 miles. At DC fast-charging stations, the battery can recharge from 10% to 80% in about 26 minutes at up to 185 kW. When using an AC charger at 11 kW, the battery reaches full capacity in approximately eight hours.

Black exterior accents and exclusive alloy wheels up to 21 inches reinforce the Elroq vRS’s athletic appearance. A sports chassis and progressive steering enhance driving dynamics in all situations. Standard equipment includes advanced LED Matrix beam headlights, LED rear lights with dynamic indicators, and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat with a massage function. Customers who opt for the Maxx Package can extend these electric seat adjustments to the front passenger seat.

Every Elroq, including the vRS, features the high-gloss black Tech-Deck Face that conceals multiple sensors, including radar. The illuminated Tech-Deck Face with vertical “eyelashes” comes as standard, alongside the signature four-eye LED Matrix headlights. Meanwhile, the dynamic indicators in the LED rear lights and a Coming/Leaving Home animation add further flair. As the driver locks or unlocks the vehicle—or approaches with the key—illuminated segments brighten in sequence and gently fade away.

Unique vRS elements heighten the Elroq vRS’s dynamic exterior. Black window trims, roof rails, bonnet and tailgate lettering, and mirror caps create a commanding look. The front and rear bumpers feature a full-width reflector strip specific to the vRS line, and vRS badging adorns the front wings. Alloy wheels (up to 21 inches) with Aero trims are exclusive to the Elroq vRS and available in various colours, including the vRS-only Hyper Green. Privacy glass on the side and acoustic windows ensure visual appeal and comfort. Tow bar preparation is standard, with an electrically released tow bar available.

Inside, the Elroq vRS benefits from the exclusive Design Selection vRS Lounge, primarily finished in black with Suedia microfibre upholstery, lime green contrast stitching, and a carbon-look décor. A three-spoke heated sports steering wheel with perforated leather, lime green stitching, and a vRS badge amplifies the sporty ambience. Heated front sports seats with integrated head restraints and stainless-steel pedal covers continue this dynamic theme. The driver’s seat is electrically adjustable, offering a standard massage, memory function, and lumbar support. By selecting the Maxx Package, owners can add the same electric massage and memory functions to the front passenger seat. Tri-zone Climatronic air conditioning is also included in this package.

A 5-inch Digital Cockpit and a 13-inch infotainment display with vRS-specific graphics are standard. A single infotainment ‘heater’ button activates or deactivates up to four heating functions simultaneously. The Elroq vRS is equipped with four fast-charging USB-C ports, each delivering up to 45 W, and a ventilated Phone Box offering wireless charging at up to 15 W. For premium in-car audio, the 12-speaker CANTON sound system provides 675 W of output power. An electrically operated tailgate with Virtual Pedal grants easy access to the 470- to 1,580-litre boot. In contrast, a Simply Clever QR code in the boot allows quick access to user guides and video tutorials via smartphone or tablet.

The Elroq vRS features sports suspension lowered by 15 mm at the front and 10 mm at the rear, along with a reconfigured steering system that complements the vRS chassis for a more engaging drive. Drive Mode Select includes a dedicated traction mode tailored to the all-wheel drive system. The optional DCC adaptive chassis offers improved comfort settings, with up to 15 adjustable shock absorber parameters in Individual mode. More potent front brakes with two-piston callipers accommodate the increased output. Drivers can also select one of two exterior sound profiles—Sport or Futuristic—via the infotainment menu.

Comprehensive connectivity supports numerous driver-assistance systems, including the latest Travel Assist as standard. This package combines Adaptive Lane Assist, Predictive Cruise Control, Traffic Jam Assist, Emergency Assist, and Blind Spot Detection, enhanced by online swarm data. Keyless entry, which unlocks the doors and tailgate when the key holder is within 1.5 metres, also comes as standard. Walk-Away Locking automatically locks the vehicle once the key moves more than 2.5 metres away. The navigation system provides real-time online alerts about accidents, breakdowns, or slippery road conditions in the vicinity.

Paired with the updated MyŠkoda app, the optional Intelligent Park Assist introduces features like Remote Park Assist, enabling the Elroq vRS to manoeuvre itself into parallel and perpendicular spaces under the owner’s smartphone control. The Remote Trained Parking function, also operated through the MyŠkoda app, allows the vehicle to complete familiar parking routines autonomously, with the driver monitoring the process from outside.

When it comes to charging, Powerpass public charging plans help locate any of over 800,000 charging points across Europe, and Plug & Charge authentication ensures effortless DC charging at up to 185 kW.

Škoda will announce UK pricing and specifications later this month, with the first deliveries of the Elroq vRS expected in the summer.
