Experience Maserati's Electrifying Showcase at Goodwood: MC20 Debuts and GranCabrio Folgore's UK Launch

Maserati will capture the spotlight at the annual Goodwood Festival of Speed, celebrating 20 years of the MC12 by globally debuting two limited edition MC20 supercars. The Italian marque will also unveil the all-electric GranCabrio Folgore to the UK public for the first time, showcasing its commitment to passion, performance, and style.

Commemorating two decades since the MC12's sensational launch, Maserati has crafted the limited edition MC20s, Icona and Leggenda, drawing inspiration from the MC12 Stradale and MC12 GT1 Vitaphone's iconic liveries. Both supercars will make their world premieres at this prestigious event.

The MC12 sequel, the track-focused Versione Corse, which debuted in 2006 with only one prototype and 12 units produced, will also join the showcase, embodying the brand's rich racing heritage. Festival goers at the Goodwood Festival of Speed will have a rare opportunity to admire this legendary 755hp V12 Maserati in the Supercar Paddock throughout the four-day festival.

From revolutionising racing with the MC12 and MC20 to pioneering electric innovations, the all-electric Maserati GranCabrio Folgore will make its public debut in the UK at this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed. As the world's first electric four-seater convertible, it introduces an advanced electric drivetrain that delivers instant torque and rapid acceleration, providing a refined and luxurious driving experience for up to four passengers while maintaining Maserati's signature performance and elegance.

Visitors can explore the GranCabrio Folgore's sleek design and latest onboard technologies along Electric Avenue. The model features groundbreaking 800-volt battery technology, ensuring stellar performance and seamless fast-charging capabilities, ideal for long-distance grand touring.

The new models at the Goodwood Festival of Speed reflect Maserati’s strategy of offering both petrol and electric versions of its cars to discerning buyers. In the UK, the all-new GranCabrio will soon hit showrooms in Trofeo form, followed by the Folgore version, marking the brand’s third pure electric model.
