New Morgan Supersport Revealed: A Milestone in British Automotive Innovation
Morgan Motor Company is poised to unveil its eagerly awaited new flagship model, the Morgan Supersport, at an exclusive live event on March 11th. This pivotal event will unfold at the company's historic red brick workshops on Pickersleigh Road, Morgan's production home since 1914.
Morgan owner Richard Hammond will lead the unveiling and broadcast live to a worldwide audience via Morgan's website, YouTube channel, and social media platforms. This ensures that Morgan's international owners and enthusiasts can participate in the event.
In addition, Morgan representatives will introduce the new Supersport during a simultaneous launch event at the Louwman Museum in the Netherlands.
In January, a camouflaged prototype of the previously unnamed model was displayed, confirming its construction on a new bonded aluminium platform called 'CXV'. The lighter and more rigid CXV platform and a BMW six-cylinder turbocharged engine incorporate new technical features and engineering improvements, enhancing dynamic performance and driving pleasure.
The all-new Morgan Supersport marks the next step in Morgan's dedication to lightweight, driver-focused performance. While it remains unmistakably a Morgan, the Supersport will introduce a more modern aesthetic and aerodynamically efficient proportions.
