Unleash Unparalleled Power: Hennessey Venom F5-M Roadster, the World’s Most Potent Manual Hypercar

Hennessey Special Vehicles, a renowned hypercar manufacturer based in Texas, has unveiled the Venom F5-M Roadster, the most potent manual production car globally. This hypercar centres on a six-speed manual transmission designed to enhance the driving experience profoundly.

The re-engineered Venom F5-M emphasises tactile feedback through its open cockpit, prioritising mechanical connections over electronic ones. Engineers have skilfully blended engaging interactions, breathtaking performance, and comprehensive sensory feedback using the formidable Fury V8 engine, which delivers 1,817 bhp, positioning the driver at the core of the action.

The founder and CEO, John Hennessey, expresses his excitement: "We are thrilled to present the Venom F5-M Roadster, the world's most powerful manual. Our ambition has always been to create a manual Venom F5, responding to client demand for a raw, thrilling driving experience."

"Operating the Venom F5 is a dynamic, full-body experience that continuously exhilarates and inspires. We relentlessly pursue further enhancements in driving pleasure, seeking to maximise connection, feedback, sound, and engagement. We are confident the Venom F5-M Roadster will offer the most intense, immersive, and extreme driving adventure on the planet, available to a select group of twelve fortunate enthusiasts."

Collaborating with seasoned calibrators, Hennessey's engineering expert, Brian Jones, has fine-tuned the engine and gearing ratios. The team has meticulously adjusted the setup to balance the thrill of handling 1,817 bhp with the practicalities of manual power transfer to the rear wheels. This ensures explosive acceleration while maintaining control at increasing speeds.

Only 12 models of the Venom F5-M Roadster will be constructed, each already claimed and priced from $2.65 million. These exclusive cars feature unique liveries, allowing owners to customise their vehicles with bespoke colours and carbon fibre details. One distinct feature is the substantial 55-inch dorsal fin, enhancing the car's aerodynamics and aesthetics.

The cockpit boasts a reimagined layout with an aluminium and carbon fibre gear shifter. This shifter is optimally placed for precision and connects physically to the gearbox, enhancing the car's tactile interaction. This commitment to detail is evident throughout the hypercar, reflecting Hennessey's high craftsmanship standards.

Nathan Malinick, Director of Design at Hennessey, comments, "Our approach is extreme, authentic, and uniquely American. These traits are embodied in the F5-M's design and performance. It’s a hypercar crafted for those who seek thrilling power and an unparalleled driving experience."

Malinick's team designed a custom livery highlighting the hypercar's contours, celebrating open-top driving, and drawing inspiration from motorsport heritage. The design integrates the car's exterior and interior, connecting them visually and thematically.

The F5-M's cockpit is redesigned, featuring new horizontal air vents and custom-made slots for the keys and controls, all crafted from billet aluminium. The entire console, including the jet-fighter-style toggle switches, is streamlined for functionality and aesthetics.

The Hennessey Venom F5-M Roadster builds on the record-breaking Venom GT Spyder legacy. Its manual transmission and top-speed achievements push the boundaries of convertible hypercar performance. Each Venom F5 is meticulously built at Hennessey’s headquarters in Sealy, Texas, and the entire range demonstrates exclusivity and innovation in hypercar design and manufacture.
